Cornell Cooperative Extension of Steuben County drew hundreds to the 2017 Locally Grown Food Festival, February 12th!
Around 400 people attended this great local foods event! Farmers from across the Finger Lakes region are invited to participate. Livestock, fruit, veggie, maple, honey, preserves, and other local producers are invited to be vendors at this event, which is also designated as a farmers’ market to allow for onsite sales. The event featured food dishes made with various local meats, vegetables, fruits, preserves, and herbs. This event will allows the farmers to educate consumers, meet new customers, promote their farm, and sell their products.
