4-H Livestock Skillathon Practice Sessions
The objectives of the Livestock Skillathon contest is to provide youth with the opportunity to blend knowledge and skills acquired in livestock judging, demonstrations, care and exhibition of animals into one activity. This is also an opportunity for youth even if they have no opportunities for livestock ownership to learn about the importance of beef, sheep, swine and goat and their products to the environment and economy.
The 4-H Livestock Skillathon Practice Sessions will be held Wednesdays, January 24, February 21 and March 21 at 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Steuben County Office Building, 3 East Pulteney Square, Bath, upstairs in the South Conference Room.
Please RSVP to Kim Randall at firstname.lastname@example.org or 607-664-2571 by Mondays, January 22, February 19 and March 19 so that your name will be on the list with the guard at the Steuben County Office Building and so that Teresa Chapman can plan for how many will be attending.
