Good Goat Grazing

The Tri-County Graziers invite you to join them for the first twilight pasture walk of the season at one of the region’s oldest meat goat farms. Host Dr. tatiana Stanton will share her experiences for sustainable meat goat production on pasture. Topics for discussion will include: Incorporating evasive grazing into a parasite management plan; Herd health for small grazing livestock; Tips for successful grazing with goats; Facilities; Marketing and a variety of other issues that will come up while touring the farm. Those in attendance should be prepared to walk up to one mile in pastures. This event is free and open to the public.
