Niagara County 4-H beef program will be hosting a beef clipping, fitting, and showmanship clinic by Kirk Stierwalt and his son, Ky, on June 7-9 at the Niagara County Fairgrounds in Lockport. This will be a hands on clinic where participants bring their own animal, their own chute, and supplies. Chute space is limited and with his son coming along they are able to open more space. Kirk Stierwalt lives in Oklahoma where he has a cattle operation. The cost of each chute space is $250.00 (which only covers the expense of bringing Kirk and Ky).Kirk limits the number of spaces available so he can give the attention to each individual they need. It is truly hands on and he gives each participant one on one guidance throughout the weekend. That is why the cost is what it is. Bedding will be provided along with a couple of meals.
