It’s time to get out your sewing machine, choose your clothing project, and get sewing! The clothing revue will be here before you know it. Here are the important dates.

Clothing evaluation locations and dates are:

Wednesday, April 1 North Cohocton Methodist Church 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Wednesday, April 15 4-H Office, County Office Bldg Annex., Bath 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.

WHAT ARE CLOTHING EVALUATIONS AND CLOTHING REVUE:

The clothing evaluation and clothing revue are the last steps in completing a Clothing Project.A member sews a garment during the current 4-H year, and then attends one of the clothing evaluations where the garment is worn for an evaluator.(See “What Happens at Area Clothing Evaluations”.)The last step is to attend the Clothing Revue where the member will model the garment while a commentary about the garment is read.Family and friends are invited to attend.

Organizational leaders, project leaders and independent families will be sent a packet with more information in January. The information will also be posted on the 4-H web site. If you have any further questions, please contact Loree (las65@cornell.edu) at the CCE Office
