Improve your mind, body and checkbook during a fun ladies day out!

Money isn’t one of those warm, fuzzy topics people like to think about, but the truth is, managing your money is critical for financial success. Statistics show that many times, women are responsible for managing the money in a household. 

If you would like to spend a fun and educational ladies day out updating yourself on different aspects of money, join us for the 4th annual Southern Tier Financial Conference: Financial Education for Women by Women scheduled for November 4, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Triangle Lounge at Corning Community College on Spencer Hill Campus, Corning. It will be a great way to join other women as we learn how to improve our mind, body, and checkbook!

The keynote for the day will be Lisa Rustici, a life coach who will help you Be the Best You Can Be! A highlight of the event will be a taped welcome by Tiffany “The Budgetnista” Aliche, an award winning teacher of financial empowerment who is quickly becoming America’s favorite, personal financial educator. One of her books will be a gift to each conference participant.

The hot topics that will be covered during the event include:

  • Amy Irvine, CFP®, MPAS, CASL®, EA, Irvine Wealth Planning Strategies, speaking on Budgeting for Busy People
  • Nancy Reigelsperger, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Steuben County financial educator, will show you how to Feng Shui Your Finances.
  • Nancy Williamson, ServU Credit Union, will discuss How to Be an Informed Car Buyer and Your Financial Report Card including the importance of improving your credit score and how to read that credit report.
  • Plus several others

The cost of $25 per person for ages 16 and older includes lunch, networking, the conference and the book Live Richer Challenge by Tiffany Aliche. The day will include door prizes and other vendors and exhibitors. After September 30, 2017, the cost will be $35 per person.
