Join Livestock and Field Crops Specialists, Amy Barkley and Josh Putman, for webinars focused on preparing for a productive 2021 grazing season.

These educational opportunities are going to be targeted towards the general grazier, though the content will focus on pasture management for beef, sheep, and goat production.

The classes will be hosted individually, rather than as a series to accommodate those who may be interested in only one or two of these varied topics. The four classes will be hosted on Thursday evenings starting February 25th and will be an hour in length, from 6:30pm – 7:30pm, with the exception of “Early Season Pasture Weed Management”, which will be 6:30pm – 8:00pm. All classes will allow time for participants’ questions.

One of the classes, “Early Season Pasture Weed Management”, will provide 1.5 DEC Credits in Categories 1a, 10, and 21. Those who are interested in taking the course for credit will need to have their pesticide license available to show the instructors and be present for the entirety of the live class.

Registration for each class includes a Zoom link to the live lecture, access link to the record lecture, and access to PDFs of the class notes. Registration fees are $10 per class, with the exception of “Early Season Pasture Weed Management”, which is $15.
